Is it possible to create a company budget based on the previous year’s business performance in Zoho ERP?

Yes, you can create a budget based on your previous year’s performance. Here’s how,

  • Log in to your Zoho ERP organisation.
  • Click Accounting on the left sidebar.
  • Navigate to the Budgets dropdown in the Modules bar and click Company Budgets.
  • Click + New Budget in the top-right corner.
  • Enter the details such as Name, Fiscal year, and Budget period.
  • Select the Income and Expense Accounts.
  • If you want to include Assets, Liabilities, and Equity accounts in your budget, click the Include Assets, Liability, and Equity Accounts in Budget option.
  • Click Create Budget.
  • In the budget creation, click Pre-fill from Previous Years’ Actuals.
  • Select a previous year.
  • Click Pre-fill.

The budget amount would be automatically filled based on the selected year’s actual.

  • Click Save.
