Understanding Trips

This document provides an overview of how trips work in Zoho ERP. It explains its purpose, and key benefits.

What is a trip ?

A trip in Zoho ERP represents an employee’s business travel and helps organizations plan, track, and manage travel-related expenses from start to finish. Trips allow organizations to control travel spend, ensure policy compliance, and capture expenses associated with travel before, during, and after the trip.

In the Trips module, you can:

  • Monitor and track trip statuses, such as upcoming, ongoing, completed, or cancelled trips.
  • Review, approve, or manage trip requests to ensure compliance with organizational travel policies.
  • Configure and manage trip preferences for employees.
