Field Customisation

By default, Zoho ERP only records a user’s name and email address. If you wish to record any other data to meet your business requirements, you can add them as custom fields.

To create a custom field:

  • Go to Settings.
  • Under Organisation Settings, click User Preferences under Users & Roles.
  • In the next page, under the Field Customization tab, click + New Custom Field in the top right corner.
  • In the next page, fill in the required details.
  • Click Save.

The custom field will be created, and will appear whenever you create a new user. Learn more about Field Customization.

Validation Rules

Set a validation rule to restrict the data being recorded when you add a new user in your organisation. This helps ensure that the data entered is accurate and adheres to your business’s standards. Learn more about Validation Rules.

Custom Buttons

Create custom buttons in your Zoho ERP organisation to perform specific actions on your user records. They help you automate tasks and reduce manual efforts.

You can create a custom button using the Deluge Script Editor and define what happens when a user performs a specific action, or what workflow must be triggered. You can also add internal or external links to the custom button for redirection.
