PDF Templates - Overview
Businesses often rely on templates to standardise the documents they send to customers. These templates define the style, format, and layout of the document to match the organisation’s branding and preferences. A PDF template serves as a reusable structure for creating transaction-related documents, such as invoices, quotes, or purchase orders. Instead of designing a new PDF from scratch for every transaction, you can set up a template once and fill in or replace the variable details, such as customer information, item descriptions, or amounts, based on the specific transaction. This ensures consistency across all documents and streamlines the document generation process. This guide explains how to customise transaction PDFs in Zoho ERP.
To open PDF Templates:
- Go to Settings.
- Navigate to Organisation Settings and select PDF Templates under Customisation.
Scenario: Patricia runs a manufacturing firm. She needs branded invoices and payslips that are customised to match her company’s identity. She opens PDF Templates under Settings and reviews the supported templates Invoices and Regular Payslips.
