Retail Store – Overview

Retail Store is Zoho ERP’s Point of Sale (POS) module used to record in-store sales and manage cash-based transactions for walk-in customers. It enables fast billing at physical counters while ensuring accurate tracking of sales, inventory, and cash flow.

Retail Store operations are session-driven. Every sale, refund, and cash adjustment is recorded against an active register session, enabling reliable reconciliation and audit readiness.

A typical Retail Store workflow includes configuring registers and payment methods, opening a session, processing sales, recording cash movements, and closing the session with reconciliation.
