Inspection Worklists

Inspection Worklists are the execution stage of quality inspections in the Advanced View. The Quality Templates associated under a Quality Rule will be inspected individually based on the parameters.

Quality Inspectors use worklists to record inspection results, evaluate items against defined quality criteria, and validate outcomes based on allowed failure limits.

Note: This module is available only in Advanced View workflow of the Quality Module.

Initiate Inspections Worklists

Initiating an inspection marks the start of the quality evaluation process for manufactured or purchased items. When an inspection worklist is opened, quality inspectors can begin validating items based on the inspection method defined in the associated Quality Template.

Depending on the template type, inspections can be carried out by either recording inspection results collectively or by evaluating each sample item individually against defined quality parameters. Once initiated, the inspection status moves from Pending to In Progress until validation is completed.
