Manufacturing Order Operations

Zoho ERP provides multiple operations that allow you to manage, track, and control manufacturing orders efficiently. These operations help you maintain accurate records, monitor progress, and customize how orders are handled.

Edit

You can edit the manufacturer order only when it is in Draft status.

To edit the manufacturing order,

• Navigate to Manufacturing Orders on the left sidebar.
• Select the manufacturing order in the Draft status you wish to edit.
• Make the required changes and click Save.

View Journal

View the journal entry created for the manufacturing order to record material consumption, work-in-progress, and finished goods. The amount will be displayed based on the organisation’s base currency.

To view the journal for the manufacturing order,

• Navigate to Manufacturing Orders on the left sidebar.
• Select the Manufacturing Order you wish to view the journal.
• Switch to the Journals tab and view the journal entries.
• If the Quality check tab is visible, then click the More icon near the Quality Checks tab and select Journal.

View Activity Logs

View the complete activity log of actions performed on this Manufacturing Order.

To view activity logs for the manufacturing order,

• Navigate to Manufacturing Orders on the left sidebar.
• Select the manufacturing order you wish to view the journal.
• Switch to the Activity Logs tab and view the activities.
• If the Quality check tab is visible, then click the More icon near the Quality Checks tab and select Activity Logs.

Delete

You can edit the manufacturing order only when it is in Draft or Confirmed status.

To delete the manufacturing order,

• Navigate to Manufacturing Orders on the left sidebar.
• Select the manufacturing order in the Draft or Confirmed status you wish to delete.
• Click the More icon in the manufacturing order details page.
• Select Delete.
• Confirm your action by clicking Delete in the pop-up.

Clone

Clone lets you create a new manufacturing order using the details of an existing one.

To clone the manufacturing order,

• Navigate to Manufacturing Orders on the left sidebar.
• Select the manufacturing order you wish to clone.
• Click the More icon in the manufacturing order details page.
• Select Clone.
• Modify the required fields and click either of the buttons,
  • Save as Draft- To create the Manufacturing Order as a draft.
  • Save and Confirm- To confirm the Manufacturing Order.

Cancel

You can cancel an manufacturing order only if it is in confirmed status.

To cancel manufacturing order,

• Navigate to Manufacturing Orders on the left sidebar.
• Select the manufacturing order you wish to cancel.
• Click the More icon in the manufacturing orders details page.
• Select Cancel.
• Confirm your action by clicking Cancel in the pop-up.
