Addon Operations

Editing Addons
Editing an addon allows you to update the details of an existing optional service. You can modify information such as the addon name, pricing, tax settings, or plan associations as your business requirements change.
Here’s how to edit an addon:
- Click Items on the left sidebar.
- Navigate to the Addons module at the top.
- Select the addon which you want to edit.
- Click Edit.
- Make the required changes.
- Click Save to save changes.
Once the changes are saved, the updated addon details will apply to new subscriptions created afterward, while existing subscriptions will remain unchanged.
Marking an Addon as Inactive or Active
Marking an addon as inactive allows you to make it unavailable for new subscriptions while retaining its existing data. Inactive addons can be reactivated at any time to resume availability.
Here’s how to mark an addon as inactive:
- Click Items on the left sidebar.
- Navigate to the Addons module at the top.
- Select the addon which you want to mark as inactive.
- Click Mark as Inctive.
The addon will be marked as inactive. Once marked as inactive, the addon cannot be used for new subscriptions until it is reactivated.
To mark an inactive addon as active again:
- Click Items on the left sidebar.
- Navigate to the Addons module at the top.
- Select the addon which you want to mark as active.
- Click Mark as Active.
The addon will be marked as active. Marking the addon as active again makes it available for use while preserving all historical subscription and configuration data.
Cloning Addons
Cloning an addon allows you to create a new addon by copying the configuration of an existing one. This helps save time when creating similar addons with minor differences in pricing, features, or associations.
Here’s how to clone an addon:
- Click Items on the left sidear.
- Navigate to the Addons module at the top.
- Select the addon which you want to clone.
- Click the More icon at the top.
- Select Clone.
- Make the required changes and click Save.
Once cloned, the new addon retains the configuration of the original addon, and you can modify the required details before saving to match your requirements.
Related Reports
You can analyze addon related data such as subscriptions, usage, and revenue using reports. They provide useful insights into how your addons are performing and are commonly used for monitoring and decision making.

Deleting Addons
Deleting an addon allows you to permanently remove an optional service that is no longer required. An addon can be deleted only if it is not associated with any active subscriptions or transactions.
Here’s how to delete an addon:
- Click Items on the left sidebar.
- Navigate to the Addons module at the top.
- Select the addon which you want to delete.
- Click the More icon at the top.
- Select Delete.
- Click OK to confirm the action.
Once deleted, the addon and its configurations will be permanently removed from the organization and cannot be used for future subscriptions.
