Manage Your Organization
Zoho ERP enables users to manage multiple organizations with multiple roles. Users can be assigned with multiple roles to support enterprise level activities within Zoho ERP.
Create a New Organization
In Zoho ERP, you can create multiple organizations and manage them. Similarly, a single user can have multiple roles assigned to them. Users can switch between the roles or organizations based on requirements. Ensure that the user is assigned with the required permissions to access the features of Zoho ERP. To create a new organization,
- Log in to your Zoho ERP organization.
- Click the Organization Name dropdown in the top right corner, the list of roles assigned to the logged in user will be displayed.
- Click Switch Organization. My Organizations list will be displayed.
- Click Manage to manage the organizations.
- Click + New Organization.
- In the popup that follows, choose either Clone Settings to copy settings from an existing organization, or Add New Organization to create a new one.
- If you select Clone Settings, enter the Organization Name of your new organization, choose the organization and the settings to clone, and click Clone.
- If you select Add New Organization, enter the Organization Name, Organization Location, and Industry Type.
- Set the Regional Settings such as Base Currency and Language. The Time Zone is auto-generated based on the selected location.
- Click Continue.
Now, the new organization will be created successfully.
Switch to Other Organization
In Zoho ERP, users can be a part of multiple organizations. In such cases, they can switch between organizations to manage all. To switch between organizations,
- Log in to your Zoho ERP organization.
- Click the Organization Name in the top right corner. The list of roles assigned to the logged in user will be displayed.
- Click Switch Organization. My Organizations list will be displayed.
- Select the organization you want to switch to.
Leave Organization
Prerequisite:
- If you’re the last Admin and the only user in the organization, you cannot leave. You must delete the organization.
- If you’re the only admin with other users, you must make one of them an Admin before leaving the organization.
- You cannot leave an organization if you configured integrations for it. Disable the integrations you configured or assign another user as an integration owner before leaving the organization.
To leave an organization,
- Log in to your Zoho ERP organization.
- Click the Organization Name in the top right corner. The list of roles assigned to the logged in user will be displayed.
- Click Switch Organization. My Organizations list will be displayed.
- Click Manage, you will be directed to the My Organizations page.
- Under My organizations, click the More icon to the right, and select Leave Organization from the dropdown.
- In the popup that follows, check the confirmation box acknowledging that you will no longer have access to the Zoho ERP organization once you leave, and click OK to proceed.
Now, you will be removed from the selected organization in Zoho ERP. If this organization is available in other Zoho Finance applications, you will still be a user of this organization in those applications.
Delete Organization
Prerequisite: It is strongly recommended to take a backup of the organization before deleting it, as all data will be permanently deleted. To backup your data in Zoho ERP, go to organization > Settings > Data Backup > Backup Your Data.
To delete your organization,
- Log in to your Zoho ERP organization.
- Click the Organization Name in the top right corner. The list of roles assigned to the logged in user will be displayed.
- Click Switch Organization. My Organizations list will be displayed.
- Click Manage, you will be directed to the My Organizations page.
- Under My organizations, click the More icon to the right, and select Delete.
- In the Delete Your Organization popup, read the information provided, check I want to permanently delete this Zoho ERP organization and its contents, and click Delete Organization.
