EPF Summary


The EPF Summary report provides an employee-wise breakdown of Employees’ Provident Fund (EPF) contributions processed during a selected period. It includes PF wages, employee and employer contributions, and statutory charges to help you verify EPF compliance and contribution accuracy.

Access EPF Summary

To access the EPF Summary Report:

  1. Click Reports on the left sidebar.
  2. Under Report Category, click Statutory Reports and select EPF Summary.

INSIGHT: You can also search for EPF Summary using the search bar at the top and navigate directly to the report.

  1. Use the period selector at the top left to choose the period you want to analyze. You can choose from predefined periods such as This Month, This Quarter, or This Year, or select a Custom date range.

The EPF contribution details for the selected period will be displayed in a tabular format for each employee.

Components of EPF Summary

The following table explains the components displayed in the EPF Summary report:

IDUnique identifier assigned to the employee.
NameName of the employee.
PF Account NumberProvident Fund account number assigned to the employee.
UANUniversal Account Number linked to the employee’s PF account.
PF WagePortion of the employee’s wages considered for EPF calculation.
Employees’ ContributionAmount contributed by the employee towards:

* Provident Fund (PF)
* Voluntary Provident Fund (VPF)
Employer’s ContributionAmount contributed by the employer towards:

* Provident Fund (PF)
* Employees’ Pension Scheme (EPS)
* Employees’ Deposit Linked Insurance (EDLI) scheme
* Admin Charges (administrative charges paid by the employer towards EPF)
Total ContributionTotal EPF-related contribution for the employee, including both employee and employer contributions.

Export EPF Summary

To export the report:

  1. Click Reports on the left sidebar.
  2. Under Report Category, click Statutory Reports and select EPF Summary.
  3. Click Export as at the top right.
  4. Choose the required export format: PDF, XLS, XLSX, or Zoho Sheet.
  5. To protect the exported file, enable Protect this file with a password and enter a password with at least six characters.
  6. Click Export.
