Payroll Journal Summary
The Payroll Journal Summary report provides a consolidated accounting view of payroll-related transactions for a selected period. It displays the debit and credit entries generated when payroll is processed and when salary payments are made, helping you reconcile payroll expenses with your accounting records.
Access Payroll Journal Summary
To access the Payroll Journal Summary report:
- Go to Reports on the left sidebar.
- Under Report Category, click Loan Reports and select Payroll Journal Summary.
INSIGHT: You can also search for Payroll Journal Summary using the search bar at the top and navigate directly to the report.
- Use the period selector at the top left to choose the period you want to analyze. You can choose from predefined periods such as This Month, This Quarter, or This Year, or select a Custom date range.
The payroll journal entries for the selected period will be displayed here. The report is grouped by transaction type and date, and each group displays corresponding Debit and Credit entries.
Export Payroll Journal Summary
To export the report:
- Go to Reports.
- Under Report Category, click Loan Reports and select Payroll Journal Summary.
- Click Export as at the top right.
- Choose the required export format: PDF, CSV, XLS, XLSX, or Zoho Sheet.
- To protect the exported file, enable Protect this file with a password and enter a password with at least six characters.
- Click Export.
