Component Requirements Summary
The Component Requirements Summary shows whether the required components for a Manufacturing Order (MO) are available in sufficient quantity or are in deficit, helping ensure uninterrupted production.
In addition to component availability details, the Component Requirements Summary also displays the location from which components will be sourced, the planned and actual start dates of the manufacturing order, and its status. It includes information about the item to be produced and the quantity to be manufactured, providing complete visibility into production planning and execution.
Deficit is calculated using the formula: Deficit = Required Quantity − Available Stock
| Deficit Value | Result |
|---|---|
| Greater than 0 | Indicates insufficient stock and that additional components are required. |
| 0 | Indicates adequate component availability to proceed with production. |
Access Component Requirements Summary Report
To access the Component Requirements Summary report:
- Go to Reports on the left sidebar.
- Under Report Category, navigate to Manufacturing.
- Select Component Requirements Summary.
