Inventory Reports

Inventory Reports provide comprehensive set of reports that help you to track, analyse, and manage your inventory across various transactions. These reports offer visibility into stock availability, movement, aging, consumption, packing, shipments, and stock counts across warehouses and locations. By consolidating data from purchases, sales, assemblies, stock counts, and shipments, Inventory Reports help businesses monitor stock levels accurately, identify fast and slow-moving items, reduce stock discrepancies, and make informed decisions for procurement, storage, and order fulfillment.

To view the Inventory Reports:

  • Go to Reports on the left sidebar.
  • Click Inventory under Reports Category.

Inventory Summary Report

The Inventory Summary report shows you the quantity of an item sold and purchased for a given period. The stock details section in the report gives the combined stock availability for your items from all warehouses. Based on the mode of stock tracking you’ve selected, the quantity displayed would vary.

You can also filter the result of this report based on warehouse name, stock availability, status of the item, item name, category and also group the items belonging to the same category.

Committed Stock Details Report

The Committed Stock Details report depicts the number of confimed sales orders created for a given period. The data fields include sales order number, line items in the order and its quantity.

Inventory Aging Summary

The Inventory Aging Summary report provides a detailed overview of how long each item has been held in stock. By categorizing inventory based on the number of days in storage, this report helps identify slow-moving, obsolete, or stale goods, enabling better stock management and informed decision-making for procurement, sales, and warehouse operations.

Closing Stock = Opening Stock + Quantity In − Quantity Out.

Assembly Details Report

This report provides a detailed view of assemblies created in the system. It lists the transaction number, assembly name, quantity assembled, component names, quantity consumed, date, status, and total cost. It helps track how individual components are used to create assemblies, monitor assembly costs, and manage inventory efficiently.

Stock Summary Report

The Stock Summary report provides an overview of your inventory for each item, helping you track stock movement and availability. It includes the following fields:

Quantity InTotal stock added during the period (purchases, returns, etc.).
Quantity OutTotal stock removed during the period (sales, usage, transfers, etc.).
Closing StockQuantity of stock available at the end of the period, calculated based on opening stock, quantity in, and quantity out.

Packing History Report

Packing History Report is a system generated reports that provides consolidated data of all the packages recorded in your organisation. Under this report you can view the associated sales orders, status of packages, tracking ID if it is in shipped status and the quantity packed. Click the package number to go to the respective details page. You can run the package history report with specific date range and status of your choice.

Scenario: Patricia Boyle oversees order packing at Zylker and wants to review all packages prepared for customer orders during a specific period. Instead of opening each package record individually, she uses the Packing History report. This report gives her a complete view of all packages, along with their related sales orders, package status, tracking IDs for shipped packages, and the quantities packed. With filters for date range and status, Patricia can quickly narrow down the data she needs and verify packing details in one place.


Stock Count Summary Report

Stock Count Summary Report is a system generated report that provides consolidated data of all the stock counts recorded in your organisation. Under this report you can view the completed stock counts and pending stock counts, the item and its SKU, counted times, result of stock counting like number of matched and unmatched times, the adjustment reason and the times yet to be counted for pending stock counts. You can run the stock count report with specific date range and on location basis.

Scenario: Patricia Boyle manages inventory at Zylker and wants a quick overview of all stock counting activities across her warehouse. Instead of checking each stock count separately, she opens the Stock Count Summary Report. The report shows which stock counts are completed and which are still pending, along with the items involved, SKUs, how many times each item was counted, and whether the counts matched or required adjustments. By filtering the report by date range and location, Patricia can easily track stock accuracy, identify discrepancies, and ensure pending counts are completed on time, all from one consolidated view.


Shipment Details Report

Shipment Details Report is a system generated report that provides consolidated data of all the shipments recorded in your organisation. Under this report you can view the associated package number, shipment tracking number, shipment date, expected delivery date for your shipment, actual delivered date, the carrier used for shipping packages, status of shipment transaction, the tracking status of shipment based on its delivery and the shipping charge incurred. Click the shipment number to go to the respective details page and verify. You can run the shipment details report with specific date range and fields of your choice.

Scenario: Patricia Boyle manages customer shipments at Zylker and wants to track all orders shipped to customers during a specific period. Instead of checking each shipment record one by one, she uses the Shipment Details report. The report shows every shipment in one place, including the related package number, shipping partner used, tracking number, shipment date, expected and actual delivery dates, shipment status, and shipping charges. By applying date and other filters, Patricia can quickly review shipment progress, verify costs, and follow up on delayed or pending shipments with ease.

Inventory Turnover By Quantity Report

Inventory Turnover By Quantity report shows how quickly your stock moves in terms of units. It uses opening stock, closing stock, and average quantity to calculate the turnover ratio and average turnover days, helping you identify fast- and slow-moving items, plan reorders efficiently, and manage inventory costs effectively.

  • Average Quantity = (Opening Stock+Closing Stock)/2
  • Turn Over Ratio = Quantity Sold/((Opening Stock+Closing Stock)/2)
  • Average TurnOver Days = No Of Days/Turn Over Ratio.
