Budgets vs Actuals Analytics Report

You can compare your budget with the actual spending of your business using the Budgets Vs Actuals analytics. View a comparative study of your budgets and the actual amount spent under each expense category on a monthly, quarterly, half-yearly, or yearly basis. Also, you can find the amount spent over your budget under each expense category. If you would like to include the unapproved expenses to calculate your actuals, you can customize your analytics report and include the unapproved expenses.

Compare Budgets vs Actuals

Once you create a budget, you can track how your business is actually performing against your budget. You will be able to compare your budget and the actual spending using a comprehensive report. Here’s how:

• Click Accounting on the left sidebar.
• Navigate to the Budgets dropdown in the Modules bar and click Employee Expense Budgets.
• Click the More icon on the right corner of the budget you’ve created.
• Click View Budget vs Actuals. You will be redirected to the Analytics page.
• If you want to apply filters, click + More Filters and select the filters you want to apply. Once done, click Run Report.
