# Collections

Collections let you group different items from your store and show them together in one place. In Zoho Commerce, you can create collections based on seasons, shopping trends, or market demands.

**Scenario:** Patricia sells shoes, bags, and sports equipment on her online store. She notices that her customers buy shoes every time they buy a travel bag. Taking this into consideration, she decides to add a collection named Travel Essentials, which includes shoes and travel bags.

## Add Collection

Here’s how you can add a new collection:

*   Go to **Collections** under _Inventory_.
*   Click **\+ New.**

**Fields**

**Description**

Name

Enter a name for this collection.

URL

The URL will be auto-populated based on the name you enter. You can also enter a URL of your choice by typing it in the URL field. This URL can be used to share the collection.

Description

Enter a description in no more than five-hundred characters. This will be shown in your online store.

Collection Type

**Manual:** You can manually select the products for this collection by clicking + Add Products.  
**Filtered:** By choosing this, you can add products to the collection using one or more filters. The filters will have certain criteria which will be used to add products. After choosing all the filters, click Save and Preview to view all the products associated to this collection.

SEO Details

Enter the SEO title, keywords, and description. This will help you increase traffic on your online store by listing this collection in web search results.

## Edit Collection

You can make changes to your existing collections by editing them. Here’s how:

*   Go to **Collections** under _Inventory_.
*   Hover over a collection and click **Edit** to make the necessary changes.
*   After you’ve made all the changes, click **Save**.
*   Click **Publish** on the left sidebar for these changes to reflect in your online store.

## Delete Collection

Warning: A collection cannot be retrieved upon deletion. However, you can create a new one anytime.

You can delete a collection if you no longer wish to use it. Here’s how:

*   Go to **Collections** under _Inventory_.
*   Hover over the collection you wish to delete and select **Delete**. In the pop-up that follows, click **Delete** again.

The collection will be deleted.
