# Facing an error that says “Account Type: Value in the field does not match with the data type supported by us.” while importing chart of accounts into Zoho Books. How do I proceed?

This error occurs when the account type in your import file does not match the account type in Zoho Books. To check the account types in Zoho Books:

*   Login to your Zoho Books organisation and then go to **Accountant** on the left side bar.
*   Select **Chart of Accounts** and the click **\+ New Account**.
*   You can check the list of options displayed in the **Account Type** field.

You can update the account type field in your file and continue to import. You can also manually add the account in Zoho Books with the available account types.

**Notes:** Currently, you can add a new account with the available account types in Zoho Books but not a new account type.
