# A user is not able to find the export button. What permission should I assign to their role to access it?

You need to enable the necessary permissions for your user’s role. Here’s how:

*   Go to **Settings**.
*   Under _Organization Settings_, select **Roles** under _Users & Roles_.
*   Hover over the role you want to edit, click the _More_ icon, and select **Edit** from the dropdown.
*   In this page, enable **Export Data** option under _Settings_.
*   Click **Save**.

Now, the user will have options to export data.
