# I’ve created a bill from purchase order but the status of purchase order has not changed to billed. What could be the reason?

When creating a bill from purchase order (PO), you might have removed and added the line item details in the bill. This will break the link between PO and the due to which the status of the PO will not be changed to billed or partially billed.
