# What is committed stock?

Committed stock refers to the quantity of an item that you have committed to sell. This implies that you’ve generated a sales order or delivery challan but have not yet invoiced it.

To access committed stocks details for each item:

*   Go to _Items_ on the left sidebar and select **Items**.
*   Select the item for which you want the committed stocks details.
*   You can view the committed stock on the right side of the Item _Details_ page.

To access committed stocks details for the whole inventory:

*   Go to **Reports** on the left sidebar.
*   Select **Committed Stock Details** under **Inventory**.

Now you can view the details of your committed stocks.
