# Why is the Zoho Project sync in progress for a long time?

The initial synchronization process may take some time, as each module is fetched individually. Until the sync is completed for all modules, the **Instant Sync** button will be replaced by a **Refresh** button. Clicking the **Refresh** button, lets you check the status of the sync.

You can also verify if the integration was recently disabled or if the **ZSC key** was regenerated , as these situations may also result in a longer sync duration than usual.
