# Why am I getting the error message: ‘User does not have permission to perform this operation’, while syncing entities?

The error message can pop up due to one of the following reasons:

*   The respective module could be hidden in Zoho CRM. Learn more about [unhiding the modules](https://www.zoho.com/crm/help/customization/tab-settings.html).
*   The user does not have the permission to access the respective module.
*   The Zoho CRM edition does not support that respective module.
