# Can I change the contact sync type from one module to another?

Yes. There are no restrictions to change the module from **Accounts** to **Accounts and their Contacts** and vice versa. However, if you want to change the sync type from **Contacts Only** to **Accounts** or **Account and their Contacts** and vice versa, you will need assistance from us.

For instance, if you wish to change the sync type (Between Zoho Books - Zoho CRM) from **Account and their Contacts** to **Contacts** only, we can help you set up the sync in two ways depending upon your preference:

*   **You can move all the contacts created in Zoho Books as Contacts in Zoho CRM**. Upon changing the sync, all the accounts that are pushed into Zoho Books from Zoho CRM without any transaction created, will be deleted, and accounts that have transactions will be made inactive.

OR

*   **You can push only the new contacts that are created henceforth into the CRM as Contacts**. Newly created contacts in Zoho Books will be pushed to Zoho CRM as contacts. The link between the old contacts and the respective Account (CRM) will be removed. Any transaction created for the old contact will not be pushed into Zoho CRM.
