# How are decimal places for currencies handled in Zoho Books?

Most currencies typically display two decimal places when handling amounts. However, you can customise your decimal preferences in Zoho Books. Here’s how:

*   Go to to **Settings**.
*   Select **Currencies** under _Organization_.
*   Select the currency for which you intend to modify the decimal places.
*   You can choose from the drop-down under **Decimal Places**.
*   Further, you can also choose a **Format** in which you want the decimal to reflect.
*   Click **Save**.
