# Does Company ID Data Migrate Automatically to the New SIRET Field?

Company ID data is handled differently for the organisation profile and for contacts.

For the organisation profile, SIRET is introduced as a new field, and the existing Company ID data will be moved to the **SIREN** field. You must enter the organisation’s SIRET separately after migrating to the France edition.

For customers and vendors, the Company ID field is renamed to **SIREN/SIRET** and will carry the same value as the existing Company ID field during contact creation or migration. Review the migrated values and update them if required.
