# Can B2C Invoices Be Issued Using a Generic Customer?

Zoho Books does not restrict you from creating B2C invoices using a generic customer. However, for compliance purposes, create each customer individually instead of using a generic customer.

This helps maintain accurate customer details for e-reporting and invoice records.
