# How can I transfer funds from a bank to a liability account?

To transfer funds from a bank to a liability account:

*   Go to the **Banking** module and select the bank from which you want to transfer funds.
*   Click the **Add transaction** dropdown and select **Expense** under _Money Out_.
*   Select the specific liability account you want to transfer the funds to in the _Expense Account_ dropdown.
*   Enter the amount that you wish to transfer from the bank to the selected liablilty account.
*   Add other necessary details and click **Save** at the bottom.

The transaction for transferring fund from the bank to the liablity account will be completed.
