# How do I match a transaction with multiple customer payments?

Zoho Books allows you to match uncategorized transactions by automatically displaying the best possible matches when you try to match them.

To match a transaction with multiple customer payments:

*   Go to **Banking** on the left sidebar and select a bank account.
*   Select the transaction you want to match under the _Uncategorized Transactions_ tab.
*   The possible matches for the selected uncategorized transactions will be displayed in the right side. Select the matching Zoho Books transaction and click **Match**.

If you haven’t recorded customer payments in Zoho Books yet, the corresponding invoices will be listed in the right side for you to match them with the selected uncategorized transactions.
