# How do I disable transaction locking to start modifying existing transactions?

You can unlock the locked transactions to modify or enter new data. Here’s how:

*   Go to **Accountant** on the left sidebar and select **Transaction Locking**.
*   Click **Unlock** next to the module you want to unlock.
*   Select **Unlock Partially** if you want to unlock the transactions that were made in a specific period of time, or choose **Unlock Completely** to unlock all the transactions.

Your transaction will be unlocked, and you’ll be able to modify it.
