Uploading Documents

You can upload documents in Zoho Writer either from your desktop, a web URL or directly from Google Docs.

Uploading a document from your desktop

To upload a document from your desktop into Zoho Writer:

  1. Click on File button on the top left hand side
  2. From the drop down menu, move your cursor over the Import option and then click on Import
  3. A pop-up will appear. Select the From Computer radio button
  4. Click on the Browse button
  5. From the displayed desktop files, click on the file you want to import
  6. Click on the Open button and the document will get imported into Zoho Writer

Upload a document from a web URL

  1. Click on File button on the top left hand side
  2. From the drop down menu, move your cursor over the Import option and then click on Import
  3. A pop-up will appear. Select the From URL radio button
  4. Enter the exact URL in the space given
  5. In the Document Details section enter the Document Name
  6. Select the Password Protected check box if the document is password protected
  7. Click on the Import button

Upload a document from Google Docs

To upload a document from Googel Docs

  1. Click on File button on the top left hand side
  2. From the drop down menu, move your cursor over the Import option and then click on Import
  3. A pop-up will appear. Select the From Google Docs radio button
  4. A pop-up with all your Google Docs documents will be displayed
  5. Click on the document you want to import and it will get imported into Zoho Writer
