Why am I facing issues when connecting my Santander account in Zoho Books?
If you’re trying to reconfigure your Santander Business or Corporate bank account in Zoho Books and are facing issues like feeds not being fetched or being redirected to the personal banking login page, it is likely that the personal Santander Bank option was selected during setup.
Previously, Zoho Books supported all Santander UK account types under a single Santander Bank option. However, Santander has now separated the authentication flow based on account type. As a result, separate bank connection options are now available in Zoho Books:
- Santander Bank (Personal)
- Santander Bank Business
- Santander Bank Corporate
While configuring the bank feed, the Santander Bank option may appear under the popular banks list, but this is meant only for Personal accounts. If your account is a Business or Corporate account, selecting this option can lead to connection issues, incorrect feeds, or redirection to the wrong login page. To avoid this, search for Santander Bank Business or Santander Bank Corporate manually in the dropdown and select the option that matches your account type before proceeding with authentication.
