This is your main home screen. Take a quick look at the progress of your CRM activities and get an overview of how your business is performing. You can customize which components are included on the Home tab.
In Zoho CRM, data is categorized into different Modules based on similarity of data.

Leads, Contacts, Accounts, Deals, and the other segments you see here are default modules.
Each individual entry in a module is called a record.
In addition to default modules, Zoho CRM also enables you to create your own custom modules to suit your unique needs.
Leads are individuals or organizations who are interested in your products and services and have the potential to become customers.
Contacts are the people in an organization who you communicate with about business opportunities.
Accounts are the companies or departments within a company which you have business dealings with.
Deals are business opportunities with organizations that may eventually turn into sales.

You can view all your leads and key details about them in your Leads List View.
You can also define which fields are displayed in the list view.

The Leads Details page allows you to know your leads inside out and plan your lead nurturing strategies to address their needs.
You can convert your nurtured leads who show interest in doing business with you into contacts.

You can associate accounts and deals when converting your leads into contacts.

You can also create deals and then associate them with accounts and contacts if required.

The fields marked in red are mandatory fields. All the mandatory fields must be filled in to create the deal.

Data Import lets you import data from external sources into your Zoho CRM account.
Data Export lets you export data from individual modules to your local storage.
