In January 2023, ZIDA embarked on a digital transformation journey with Zoho CRM, guided by a vision to enhance investor engagement and accelerate licensing processes. The CRM implementation was tailored to ZIDA's strategic requirements, transforming every stage of the investor journey:

  • Streamlining inquiries: They use Zoho CRM's webforms to capture inquiries from multiple channels, including walk-ins, email, their website, and social media. Automation ensures inquiries are systematically assigned, enabling quick responses and eliminating missed opportunities.

  • Optimizing approvals: A multi-level approval process, configured in Zoho CRM, ensures that applications progress smoothly through role hierarchies, which significantly reduces processing delays.

  • Accelerating licensing: ZIDA meticulously manages licensing through custom modules, reducing application turnaround time ranging from 30 to 60 days to just five days.

To address its unique operational requirements, ZIDA developed custom modules in Zoho CRM, including separate modules for legal reviews, PPPs, and SEZs. They also automated their Investor Grievance Response Mechanism to enhance accountability and efficiency, such that complaints can be registered faster and addressed more promptly. These innovations ensured that ZIDA's internal processes, such as travel requests, are as streamlined as investor-facing operations.
