Zoho is being used across the entire company to handle all customer records, leads, sales, etc. With our old CRM system, we found it was a pain to constantly update, and it wasn't very user friendly... Zoho has changed that issue. It makes it possible for us to have the most up to date information at all times. The business problems we are solving is just having an accurate database across all contacts. We have realized a lot of people are no longer with organizations, or addresses have changed, and it has made gathering everything much simpler.
Zoho is great for anyone who has to handle a customer database -- large or small. It is used by both the sales and marketing teams to monitor and track sales leads and opportunities, and we have used Zoho Campaigns for email marketing. Because of its integration with the Zoho suite of business tools, Zoho can address most all of the requirements of our sales and marketing teams.
If you need a very basic CRM, there may be other options that are simpler to use or set up. But if you need a full-function CRM, and particularly if you use the interface with campaigns and email, it is an excellent choice. Zoho let me use the Enterprise version for free for 15 days. I played around with it and instantly fell in love. I could customize the different modules and even create my own. I could choose which fields I wanted based on my specific needs. It could even automatically compute data in certain fields!
I was able to automate certain repetitive tasks which sent reminders and emails to the appropriate person. This greatly enhanced the efficiency and productivity of my team.
While playing around with the mobile version I discovered that I could track the whereabouts of my sales team. All they had to do was click the location icon whenever they were at the clients office and it would automatically log their exact location. This was a godsend! For years I struggled with how I could validate if my sales people were really visiting clients. Now all I have to do is generate a report and I instantly know who went where, to which client and when. I was AMAZED!

During our CRM evaluation in the first part of 2020, I tried the free version of Zoho which allowed me to get a real feel of its basic capabilities, of which there are many.
