Understand application sharing

By default, an application created using Zoho Creator is private. It can only be accessed by the application owner, who is an admin of the application. The admin can share the entire application or only the required sections or components (forms, reports, and pages) with individual users or groups, and assign access permissions to them. The admin can invite the others to view or access the application.

The users with whom the application is being shared may have different sets of permissions based on the scope of the work they have to accomplish with the application. The users with whom the application is shared are of three different types.

Users : Individuals who need to access the application. For example: employees and consultants Click here to learn more about users.

Customers : Individuals who are not part of the admin's organization, but need to access the application. For example: suppliers and vendors. Click here to learn more about customers.

Developers : Individuals who help the admin modify the application based on his/her requirements. Click here to learn more about developers.
