Invoke function

Invoking a function

Functions can be invoked from the following places in an application:

  • Workflow
    1. Navigate to Workflow.
    2. Select Form Workflows, or Schedules, or Button Workflows from the top, then select the required workflow.
    3. Edit the required action in the workflow or click Add New Action and navigate to Custom Action
    4. Select the required event. For example, On Load, On Success, On Validate, On Delete, or On User Input.
    5. Drag and drop the call function under Miscellaneous to invoke the required custom function.
  • Design page of report  
    1. Navigate to the design page of the report.
    2. Select Quick View or Detail View, as required, and click on Actions.
    3. Click the + icon for For Single Record, For Right Click of a Record, For Multiple Records, or For Selected Record, as required.
    4. Click Add New Action.
    5. On the Custom Menu page, specify the required details and click Create Workflow.
    6. Click Add New Action and navigate to Custom Action.
    7. Click Run a function and invoke the required custom function, or click on Create your own and drag and drop the call function under Miscellaneous to invoke the required custom function.
  • Page builder
    1. Navigate to the Page builder. Functions can be invoked from Panel, Button, and Snippets widgets in the page builder.
    2. Double-click on the required Panel or Button
    3. Click on Action > Action Type dropdown > Execute Function to invoke the required custom function.
    4. If you want to invoke functions on Snippets, click Snippets and double-click on Deluge Server Page.
    5. Drag and drop the call function under Miscellaneous to invoke the required custom function.
