Understand lifecycle of a portal user

The lifecycle of the portal user refers to the approval status of the portal user in the portal. The portal users are grouped into three different approval statuses: approved customers, pending customers, and unconfirmed customers.

Approved portal users: The portal users who have been approved by the admin to access the portal.
Pending portal users: The portal users whose request to join the portal is still pending approval.
Unconfirmed portal users: The portal users who are yet to accept the invitation to join the portal.
