It simplifies the distribution of your applications, ensuring seamless deployment across all clients. Whether you're building from scratch or enhancing an existing application, Developer Console gives you everything you need to create customized solutions.
Developer Console's features

Environments
The environments feature allows developers to create and test new features or bug fixes without impacting client applications. The Development environment is used for building and bug fixes, following which the changes will be published to the Staging environment, which is for testing only, with no edits allowed. This allows you to develop and test applications in parallel, with continuous integration and continuous development of your applications.
One-click updates
With one-click updates from Developer Console, you can easily deploy updates across all clients who have the application installed. These updates are simultaneously pushed to the administrators of each client’s installed application, where they can update it by clicking the update option from their console. Each update is packaged and published as a new version, allowing admins to manage and track updates efficiently.
Secure source code
In Zoho Creator Developer Console, the source code of applications developed on the platform isn't accessible to clients. This, coupled with server-side execution, ensures maximum protection of the source code for applications created by developers.
Data privacy
The platform ensures that any data entered in the client application remains completely private and isn't accessible to the developer of the application. This separation of data guarantees that while developers can build, customize, and manage applications, they don't have visibility into the sensitive data handled by the client, thus maintaining robust data privacy and security for end users.
Multi-tenancy
The multi-tenancy feature in Developer Console allows you to edit the master copy of an already deployed application. These changes will not reflect in the client's version of the application unless the owner of the application (the developer) publishes these changes. This allows for constant development and improvement of applications without affecting the client.
Application distribution
There are two options available in Developer Console for sharing applications:
Direct application sharing
Applications can be shared privately with clients through an email containing an installation link.
Publishing to Zoho Marketplace
Applications can be made publically available by listing them on Zoho Marketplace. Once the app is reviewed by Zoho to ensure that it meets the necessary requirements, it will be listed on Marketplace, enabling you to showcase your solution to a broader audience and attract potential users.
