Zoho Connect integration with Asana

Asana is a an application that helps create, organize and manage tasks for a project. When you add Asana to your group, you will be able to get updates on your project tasks in Connect.

To add Asana to any of your groups on Connect, follow these steps:

1. Select Integrations from the drop-down menu in the top-right corner of the page, or from the group settings page and click +Add new integration.
2. Click on the Add button on the right, next to Asana.
3. To start using Asana, click Authenticate your Asana account and log in to your Asana account.

   

4. Once the authentication is complete, select the group to add the integration. You can customize the name and icon for the updates.
5. Select the project for which updates need to be posted.
6. Once you are done, click Save.

   

7. Any project task you start in Asana, the comments you receive, tasks assigned to you or assigned by you, and tasks completed gets posted as notifications to your group. Asana checks for updates every 30 minutes and posts them to your Zoho Connect group.
8. ​You will be directed to your Asana page when you click on the update.

You can revoke your authentication, and switch to a different account.

1. To do this, go to the Integrations page and select the Configured Integrations tab.
2. Click Asana to view the groups the integration was added.
3. Select the Edit option near next to the respective detail.
4. Click Revoke. Asana updates from the account will no longer be posted to the added groups.
5. Click Authenticate your account to add a different account or to add back the same account.

Disabling Asana

1. Open the Integrations page and select the Configured Integrations tab.
2. Click Asana to view the groups the integration was added.
3. Select Edit next to the respective detail.
4. Click Disable.

Deleting Asana

1. Open the Integrations page and select the Configured Integrations tab.
2. Click Asana to view the groups the integration was added
3. Select Edit next to the respective detail.
4. Click Delete to remove Asana from the group.
