# What are the prerequisites required to integrate with a carrier?

Prerequisites:

*   You need a valid and active account with the shipping service providers that you choose to integrate inside Zoho Commerce. For example: If you wish to integrate with FedEx and DHL, you need to have an account with them to be able to set up an integration with Zoho Commerce.
*   Read and understand the terms and conditions of your preferred carriers and their modes of operation.
