# How do I customize the content and design of transactional email notifications?

You can modify the design and content of your automated emails to match your branding.

*   Go to **Settings** > **Customizations** > **Email Notifications** > **Templates**.
*   Create a new template from scratch or edit an existing pre-built template to make modifications.
*   Use the **Insert Placeholders** tool to make content dynamic, automatically inserting data like the customer’s name or order ID.
*   Use the built-in toolbox to format text, add hyperlinks, and insert images by uploading from your desktop or using an image URL.
