# How do I configure the number of points a customer earns per purchase?

You can configure points earning rules under **Points Redemption Rules** when creating or editing a Loyalty Program. Go to **Settings** > **Setup & Configurations** > **Loyalty Program** and create a new program.

Under **Points Redemption Rules**:

*   Select the **Loyalty Type**:
    *   **Single Criteria** - Apply one earning rule for all orders.
    *   **Multiple Criteria** - Set different earning rules based on order value ranges.
*   Set the **Order Value Range** - the minimum and maximum order value for which the rule applies.
*   Set **For Every** - the amount increment for which points are earned (e.g., for every INR 100 spent).
*   Set **Points Earned** - the number of points awarded for each increment.
*   Click **Add New Range** to add additional tiers if using Multiple Criteria.
*   Set the **Amount per Point** - the monetary value assigned to each loyalty point when redeemed.

Under **Redeeming Loyalty Points Preferences**, you can optionally enable:

*   **Minimum Points Required for Redemption** - Customers can redeem points only if they meet a minimum threshold.
*   **Redemption Window** - Define when customers can start and stop redeeming points.

Click **Save** to apply the loyalty program configuration.
