How do I track website traffic by source?

Go to Reports and then Traffic and open the Source section. It breaks your store’s traffic down by:

  • Referrers — the site or label a visitor arrived from (for example, a specific domain, Internal for on-site navigation, or “-” for direct/unknown sources)
  • Browsers — the browser used (Chrome, Opera, and bots/crawlers like FacebookBot)
  • Operating Systems — the visitor’s OS (Mac OS X, Windows, and others)
  • Countries and Regions — where traffic originates
  • Device type — the kind of device used

This tells you where visitors come from at the referrer level, which browsers and devices they use, and their geographic distribution.

Note: Zoho Commerce’s Source report groups traffic by referrer, not by marketing channel. It doesn’t automatically classify visits as organic, social, paid, or direct. For channel-level attribution, connect a web analytics tool such as Google Analytics, or use Advanced Analytics for Zoho Commerce.
