# What units of measurement can I use for weight and dimensions?

There are a few default units available, as listed below. These units are set in the _Fulfilment Details_ section of the item creation or editing page. The units you select here will be used for shipping calculations.

**Weight** - supported units are:

*   **kg** (kilograms)
*   **g** (grams)
*   **oz** (ounces)
*   **lb** (pounds)

**Dimensions** (Length x Width x Height) - supported units are:

*   **cm** (centimetres)
*   **in** (inches)

You can also set a unit for the item from the **Unit** field in _General Details_. This covers quantity units such as box, cm, dozen, ft, grams, inches, and more - select from the dropdown or type to add.
