# Sometimes Specifications don’t appear on the online store. How do we resolve this?

A few common reasons specifications don’t appear on the online store are:

*   The specification was created but **not assigned/filled in** for that particular item.
*   **Theme/template** support - some online store themes display specifications differently or in specific sections, so verify your theme is set to display them.
*   A recent edit may need a **save/publish** of the store to take effect.

Check those in order; if specifications still don’t appear after confirming the item has values, contact Zoho support to investigate further.
