Can I set a different tax rate for individual items?

Yes, you can set a tax rate at the item level. To do this:

  1. Go to Items and open or create the item.
  2. In the Item Details section, find the Intra State Tax Rate and Inter State Tax Rate fields.
  3. Select the applicable tax rate from each dropdown.
  4. You can also enter an HSN/SAC code for the item if required.
  5. Click Save.

The tax rates set here apply to this item specifically, overriding the store’s default tax settings.
