# How do I get notified when an item reaches the re-order point?

Set a **Reorder Point** value in the item’s inventory settings:

*   Open the item and click **Edit Item**.
*   Enable **Track Inventory for this item**.
*   Enter a value in the **Reorder point** field (for example, 2).
*   Click **Save**.

Zoho Commerce will send you a reminder when the item’s stock goes below the reorder point value. Make sure you have enabled your **low stock email notification** in Settings.

**Note:** You can add opening stock on the Item Details page by clicking the gear icon under the Locations section.
