# Can I set up a reorder point notification?

Yes, setting up reorder point notifications involves two steps: setting the reorder point on the item, and enabling the notification in settings.

**Step 1: Set the reorder point on the item**

1.  Go to **Items** and open or edit the item.
2.  Check **Track Inventory for this item** to enable stock tracking.
3.  Enter a value in the **Reorder point** field.
4.  Click **Save**.

**Step 2: Enable low-stock notifications**

1.  Go to **Settings** > **General** > **Items** > **Preferences**.
2.  Check **Notify me if an item’s quantity reaches the reorder point**.
3.  Under **Notify to**, select the email address that should receive the alerts.
4.  Click **Save**.

Once both are configured, you will receive an alert whenever an item’s stock drops to or below its reorder point.
