# Can I set a minimum or maximum order quantity?

Yes, you can set the minimum and maximum order quantity for an item. This is useful if you want to limit how many of a product a customer can purchase at once. To set these limits:

1.  Go to **Items** and create or select an existing item.
2.  In the _New Item_ or _Edit Item_ page, scroll down to the Item Details section and find the **Minimum Order Quantity** and **Maximum Order Quantity** fields.
3.  Enter the desired values in the **Minimum Order Quantity** and **Maximum Order Quantity** fields.
4.  Click **Save**.
