# Can I mark an item out of stock without removing it?

Yes, out-of-stock items remain visible on your online store but are unavailable to purchase until stock is replenished. To view all out-of-stock items in one place,

*   Go to **Items** in the left menu.
*   Click the **Active Items** dropdown at the top of the Items list and select **Out of Stock**. The list of out-of-stock items is displayed.
