# Can I clone or duplicate an existing item?

Yes, cloning an item saves you from rebuilding something similar from scratch. To clone an item:

1.  Go to **Items** and select the item you want to duplicate.
2.  In the item detail panel, click the **More Options** menu in the top right.
3.  Select **Clone**.

The cloned item is created as a new entry with the same details, which you can then edit as needed.
